The Women’s Kingston Heath Challenge was first played in 2009. The inaugural rose bowl trophy was presented by the Vice-President of Kingston Heath, Robbie Baxter. It orignially consisted of 20 players from each club, however in 2024 it was reduced to 16 players who play an annual match alternating between Kooyonga and Kingston Heath. The best 12 out of 16 scores on the final day count to determine the winning team. In 2019, the event was renamed the Liz Jackson Challenge in memory of the late Liz Jackson who started the event following the years she spent as a member of Kingston Heath.
Played in conjunction with the Kingston Heath Challenge is the Kooyie’s 20 Trophy which also commenced in 2009. It is an individual event played over two Stableford rounds contested by Kooyonga members playing in the Kingston Heath Challenge.
