Representing the Members of our Club
The role of the General Committee is to oversee and manage all business operations including conduct, administration, general affairs, funds and general property of the Club. The General Committee of Kooyonga Golf Club comprises of eight ordinary Committee members and four Office Bearers being the President, Vice-President, Captain and Vice-Captain all of whom must be Category One or Life Members to be eligible for election.
The Office Bearers are elected at an Annual General Meeting where the President, Vice-President, Captain and Vice-Captain hold Office for two years from the date of their respective elections. Ordinary Committee members also hold Office for two years from the dates of their respective elections where six are elected by members of the Club at an Annual General Meeting and two are appointed by the Committee.
