Congratulations to our Sanderson Cup team who defeated Blackwood 3/2 in atrocious conditions at The Grange yesterday. They battled through horizontal rain and chilling gale winds so it was a very well deserved win! Well done also to our Cleek 2 team who defeated Glenelg 3/2 home at Kooyonga on Monday. Unfortunately our Women’s A3 team lost to Glenelg 0.5/4.5 as did our Pike Cup team losing to Mid North 4/1. All other Sunday teams (Simpson, Bonnar, Sharp and Junior Div 2) were cancelled due to weather so the teams each halved. Please see below for full results of all teams.

A great win by the Sanderson Team in atrocious conditions at Grange on Sunday. They battled through horizontal rain, chilling gale winds and intermittent blue sky to notch up a 3-2 win against Blackwood.
A big thank you again to our caddies and supporters who also braved the conditions and helped keep the players spirits up even when cold and wet, we appreciate you!

Playing at The Grange on Sunday, our Pike team lost 4/1 to the strong Mid North team. Matches were played in good spirit but in terrible weather. Playing the west course from the 10th, Jill Trenorden finished strongly with birdies on the 7th and 8th to notch up a 2/1 win. After match camaraderie was enjoyed as usual. Hats off to the caddies.

Thank you to all the players and caddies who braved the elements for the Sharp Cup early Sunday morning. All the players were having solid, tight contests against Tea Tree Gully despite the very wet and difficult conditions at Royal Adelaide Golf Club.
The competition was halted due to unplayable conditions and all the teams halved their contests because of this.
Thank you to Tammy Twiss for stepping up to Sharp Cup on Sunday.
