Representing Kooyonga and our values

The Junior Ambassador programme commenced in 2016 and was developed to acknowledge juniors who are rapidly improving their skills as well as exceptionally representing Kooyonga and the values of the Club. The programme provides an opportunity for each Ambassador to expand all aspects of their golf game, acquire valuable life skills and to develop into an elite sports person.

Our five juniors below have recently been named the Junior Ambassadors for 2018-2019.

Hayden Massey

Hayden has been a member of Kooyonga since 2017. He is a current member of the Kooyonga Junior High Performance squad and is a strong contributor in the Sharp Cup (Junior) Pennant team. Over the last 12 months Hayden has improved his GA handicap from 5.5 to 2.4.

James Percey

James has been a member of Kooyonga since 2013 and has previously been a Junior Amabssador. He is a current member of the Kooyonga Junior High Performance squad and is in the Simpson Cup (Senior) Pennant team.

Emily Giotis

Emily has been a member of Kooyonga since 2016. She is a current member of the Kooyonga Junior High Performance squad, represented South Australia in SAPSASA and is in the Sharp Cup (Junior) Pennant team which is currently at the top of the ladder. Over the last 12 months Emily has improved her GA handicap from 27.4 to 13.2.

Jack Speirs

Jack has been a member of Kooyonga since 2015 and has previously been a Junior Ambassador. He is a current member of the Kooyonga Junior High Performance squad and like Emily, is in the solidly performing Sharp Cup (Junior) Pennant team. Over the last 12 months Jack has improved his GA handicap from 13.1 to 6.4.

Kyle Hayter

Kyle has been a member of Kooyonga since 2013 and has previously been a Junior Ambassador. Kyle played in our Sharp Cup team in 2015 leading in to representing Kooyonga in the Simpson Cup team from 2016. In 2017 he won the R.K. Duval Trophy for the best performed pennant player and the D.W. Martin Trophy for most improved player.
