All participants, caddies & spectators are expected to comply with the dress standards and any course requirements of the Kooyonga Golf Club. No denim clothing, cargo shorts/pants or tracksuits may be worn on any of the Club’s property. Hats/caps are not to be worn in the clubhouse. Prominent tattoos must be covered at all times. Shirts must be tucked in at all times. Black or coloured socks with shorts are not permitted. The Committee may deny any person not complying with the dress standards access to any of the Club’s facilities.Conditions of Play* I agree to the conditions of play (as per the conditions below).1. 18 holes of stroke play. 2. Open to male amateur golfers whose GA handicap does not exceed 4.0 and female amateur golfers whose GA handicap does not exceed 9.0. Entries from players with a handicap higher than the respective GA limit will be considered at the Match Sub-Committee's discretion. 3. The entrance fee must be paid at the time of entry, otherwise the entry cannot be accepted. No entries will be accepted by phone or email. 4. The Kooyonga Golf Club reserves the right to refuse any entry without giving an explanation. Any entrant may withdraw and have their entrance fee refunded (less any applicable processing fees) provided notification is received prior to the date entries close. 5. The field will be strictly limited. If entries exceed this limit, a handicap ballot will apply. 6. The Rules governing this event shall be the R&A Rules of Golf together with local rules enforced by the Kooyonga Golf Club. GA conditions in relation to Code of Conduct apply. 7. Competitors must start at the appointed time. 8. The Match Committee of the Kooyonga Golf Club will make playing arrangements and be umpire in the case of a dispute or protest which must be lodged in writing with the Match Committee at the Clubhouse not later than 5 minutes after the conclusion of the day's play. 9. In the event of a tie there will be a sudden death playoff using the following sequence of holes: 1, 13, 14, 18 and repeated if necessary. 10. Each group must maintain its position on the course with respect to the group in front. Any group with a clear hole in front of them will be considered out of position. Penalties will be applied to players in such groups who by their pace contribute to such delay. Warnings may not be issued prior to the imposition of penalties. 11. Players, caddies & spectators are required to comply with the dress standards of Kooyonga. 12. Each competitor must complete the full 18 holes of this event other than in the following circumstances: a) the competitor is directed to leave the course in accordance with the club's medical protocols; b) the competitor otherwise suffers an illness or injury which prevents them from completing the event; or c) the competitor is required to leave the club by reason of an emergency. If a competitor fails to complete the event other than in the circumstances referred to above or without a reasonable excuse as assessed by the General Manager in his or her absolute discretion, the competitor may be suspended from entering this event the following year. 13. Players must follow the Kooyonga Golf Club medical protocol.
