Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered and sponsored The James Thredgold Jeweller Kooyonga Foundation Golf Day on Friday 21 November. We were blessed with the most perfect weather which just added to the wonderful feedback we received from players about what a great day they had.<\/span><\/p>\n

We would like to thank all sponsors for their involvement in the day (refer to the list below), in particular James Thredgold Jeweller for supporting this event for the fifth year in a row as our naming sponsor. Thank you to Paul Seedsman, former professional Australian rules footballer, who was our guest speaker and provided some great stories from his time at Collingwood and the Crows. Paul has a wonderful nature about him and speaks with such ease that most would agree we could have listened to him all night! A big thank you also to Ben Hook who accepted our invitation once again to MC this year\u2019s event. Ben always manages his role of MC with such ease and we are very grateful that he gives up his Friday night once a year to host our Foundation Golf Day.<\/p>\n

The final figures show that we raised in excess of $60,000 for the Kooyonga Foundation which is a tremendous result that will assist in financially supporting golf development and improved club facilities. This couldn\u2019t be achieved without the support of all our sponsors, volunteers and wine\/prize donors and we extend a huge thank you to everyone for their involvement.<\/p>\n
