{"id":23367,"date":"2020-03-21T15:54:32","date_gmt":"2020-03-21T05:24:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kooyongagolf.com.au\/cms\/?p=23367"},"modified":"2023-06-20T16:15:38","modified_gmt":"2023-06-20T06:45:38","slug":"temporary-local-rules-for-covid-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kooyongagolf.com.au\/cms\/2020\/03\/21\/temporary-local-rules-for-covid-19\/","title":{"rendered":"Temporary Local Rules for COVID-19"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"modal-ready\"><p>Temporary Local Rules are in play from Sunday 22 March 2020 until further notice due to COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marking of Score Card<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A player must enter their own hole scores on their scorecard and not swap cards with their marker (exception to Rule 3.3b). \u00a0At the end of the round the marker must verbally certify the final score.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Flagsticks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The flagstick must be left in the hole at all times. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A ball at rest in the hole will be considered to be holed even if it is not entirely below the level of the hole.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>To enable a ball to be easily extracted from the hole without touching the sides, a hole liner has been positioned in each hole at a shallow level.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bunkers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rakes have been removed from all bunkers.<\/p>\n<p>When a player\u2019s ball lies in a bunker, the ball may be lifted, without penalty, and cleaned. \u00a0Before lifting the ball, the player must mark the spot of the original ball (reference point). \u00a0Having lifted the ball, the player must place the ball in a spot in the bunker within one club length of and not nearer the hole than the reference point.
