1. Open to male amateurs who are Members of Kooyonga, Royal Adelaide, Grange or Glenelg Golf Clubs and whose Golf Australia (GA) handicap does not exceed 9.2.
2. The entrance fee must be paid at the time of entry, otherwise entry cannot be accepted. No entries will be accepted by phone or email.
3. The Kooyonga Golf Club reserves the right to refuse any entry without giving an explanation. Any entrant may withdraw and have their entry fee refunded (less any applicable processing fees) provided notification is received prior to the date entries close.
4. The field will be strictly limited. If entries exceed this limit, a handicap ballot will apply.
5. The maximum daily handicap a player can play off is 12, even if the player enters when in A Grade and then moves out to B Grade.
6. The Rules governing this event shall be the R&A Rules of Golf together with local rules enforced by Kooyonga Golf Club. GA conditions in relation to Code of Conduct apply.
7. Motorised transport is not permitted, whether the member/guest has a permit or not.
8. Competitors must start at the appointed time.
9. The Match Committee of Kooyonga Golf Club will make playing arrangements and decide any dispute or protest which must be lodged in writing with the Match Committee at the Clubhouse not later than 5 minutes after the conclusion of the day’s play.
10. In the event of a tie there shall be a sudden death playoff using the normal sequence of holes: 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. The playoff will be a handicap playoff using the stroke play index.
11. Each group must maintain its position on the course with respect to the group in front. Any group with a clear hole in front of them will be considered out of position. Penalties will be applied to players in such groups who by their pace contribute to such delay. Warnings may not be issued prior to imposition of penalties.
12. Players, caddies & spectators are required to comply with the dress standards of Kooyonga.
13. Each competitor must complete the full two rounds totaling 36 holes of this event other than in the following circumstances: a) the competitor is directed to leave the course in accordance with the club's medical protocols; b) the competitor otherwise suffers an illness or injury which prevents them from completing the event; or c) the competitor is required to leave the club by reason of an emergency. If a competitor fails to complete the event other than in the circumstances referred to above or without a reasonable excuse as assessed by the General Manager in his or her absolute discretion, the competitor may be suspended from entering this event the following year.
14. Players must follow the Kooyonga Golf Club medical protocol. If a player feels unwell i.e. faint, dizzy, confused, has chest pains or is hit by a golf ball during the round, the unwell player must leave the course if directed to do so by a staff member and withdraw from the competition if that player is unable to resume within 15 minutes.
